How to test for IR :
- Plug in a battery and hold up the sensor to the IR source
- Push button/trigger on TV remote /Source
- The LED will glow in proportion to the intensity of the source.
To check batteries: Plug-in batteries-9v, AAA, AA. Hold up to sun or incandescent blub. If the batteries are good the LED will light
